Hello and welcome to Devon Nutrition the website of Exmouth Nutritionist Hazel Pelham. About Me. Having started life as an Engineer I was inspired to study nutrition after a change of diet helped meto recover from Crohn's Disease. I trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition under Patrick Holford and graduated with distinction in 1997. I like to work with clients in a practical and supportive way. I'm not a fan of restrictive or puritanical eating habits.
I grew up in France where I embarked on a life-long love of cooking and food. However, I struggled with my weight as a teenager and I fell prey to an eating disorder. Recovering some time latersparked up my interest in food and how it can affect our body and soul. A few years down the line I had only what I could describe as an epiphany: food was part and parcel of my life and I wouldn't feel fulfilled until I did something about it.
