Daniel O'Shaughnessy was born into a family where good nutrition was at centre stage in the household so naturally Daniel's love for good food began at an early age. His mother was a successful coachfor a popular weight loss company and this really fuelled his interest in nutrition. In today's modern world of intensively farmed and highly processed foods it is difficult to maintain a well-balanced and nutritious diet. The stress associated with the fast pace of modern life addsto the challenge, and you can easily find yourself feeling run-down and prone to infections. Vague symptoms can often emerge, such as being tired all the time, experiencing frequent colds, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, bowel problems, hormonal imbalances and food sensitivities.

I am a fully qualified nutritional therapist and founder of Apples to Zinc Nutritional Therapy. I have always been interested in food and nutrition but, until I had my own family, it was simply aninterest. Having a family really changed my priorities and the way I felt about health.

I am very passionate about helping individuals better their health through the use of diet, herbs, nutritional supplements and flower essences. Having worked in the NHS for 4 years it became apparentto me that prevention is better than having a lifetime of popping pills. We live in such a toxic world right now due to environmental pollution and nutrient deplete foods and unfortunately people do not realise the importance of looking after their bodies by cleansing and detoxifying.

Lky7 Sports is a family run business in the heart of Middlesex, specialising in sports nutrition. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help out where they can. Nutritional Therapy is aimed at helping your body to heal itself by giving it the nutrients it needs to restore natural function. The nutrients in our food affect each individual cell in our body, influencing how they communicate and how they work. The aim of nutritional therapy is to find the underlying cause of your symptoms, using one-to-one consultations.

Nutritional therapy combines nutritional science with an individually centered regime to promote optimum health and combat a variety of health problems. Nutritional therapy recognises each person asan individual not just a set of symptoms and understands how the food we eat has an impact on the way our bodies function.

I qualified from University of Westminster with a science degree in Nutritional Therapy in 2006 and subsequently helped hundreds of clients with a variety of health problems in the years thatfollowed. Since becoming mum to two little boys (now 5 and 4 years old), I now specialise in children's health, having experienced first hand the challenges of not having enough hours in a day, keeping all members of the family healthy and fussy eaters!

I started Personal Training with Chris once a week at his studio in Bagshot in February 2012. Previous to that I had been a member of a gym but not attended for at least 4 months. I had lostmotivation, put weight on after Christmas and at 42 years old knew it would only get worse. I needed a good kick-start! My weight when I started training was between 10st and 10st 3lbs and I was a size 10 -12 and 5ft 5inches tall.
